“The action moves briskly and is boosted by the motley cast of characters and [Sinclair] Browning’s inspired descriptions of the Southwest landscape up to the very end.”—Publishers Weekly

About the Author
One of five nominees (the only writer) for the Arizona Arts Award in 2000, Browning's mysteries have been nominated for Shamus and Barry Awards. Publishers Weekly compared her America's Best to the "heroic war fiction of John Toland and Leon Uris." A former writing instructor she has also been a judge for the Edgar, the Shamus and the St. Martin's First awards.
Her work covers a broad spectrum: mysteries, thrillers, historical fiction and a a metaphysical novel. Her nonfiction includes spiritual books on afterlife gifts, signs we receive from people we have lost who assure us that their spirits are indeed alive and well.
