- Octavo, 9-1/2 inches high by 5-7/8 inches wide. Bound in full tan calf with gilt-titled leather labels on the spine. The covers are rubbed and soiled and the spine is scuffed. 327 and 259 pages respectively. A previous owner's name, with the date of acquisition, is penned on the front endpaper. The pastedowns, endpapers and preliminary pages are heavily foxed. There is some lighter occasional foxing throughout. There is a small piece out front the top corner of one page, not affecting the text. A tear to pages v & vi of the second book has been repaired with clear archival document tape. There are occasional marginal annotations in pencil. Good.
