Octavo, pp. [1-7] 8-298 [299: blank] [300: colophon/bar code], pictorial wrappers. First edition. Lovecraft's letters to Rheinhart Kleiner (1892)-1949), one of his earliest and most enduring friends and correspondents, are lost, so the transcriptions published here are mainly from the Arkham House transcripts. Lovecraft's letters to Kleiner are followed by a selection of poetry and essays by Kleiner, poems by Lovecraft addressed to Kleiner, and a partial bibliography of the literary works of Kleiner, pages [239]-288.
