Copy with 2 b/w portraits (frontispiece of Vol. I & Vol. II), plus 56 plates with 68 b/w illustrations and 1 large folded map at end of book. Top edge tinted. Green cloth cover, device in blind on front cover, gilt title on spine (dulled). Back and head of spine of dust jacket is missing and is now repaired and in a protective sleeve. Ageing of paper, and occasional foxing. Still a very good clean copy. 24 x 15.7. Seller Inventory # 73182

HARDCOVER. Farrar and Rinehart, nd (1931), First US edition. A very good copy in partially sun faded (especially to the spine) green cloth boards. The edges and endpapers are age tanned and there are previous owners plates on the front endpapers and the verso of the front free endpaper. The front hinge is weakened at the frontispiece but is holding very securely. Otherwise the contents are fine and unmarked. The d/w is a facsimile of the d/w for the first Australian and is now in a protective cover. Scans available if required. Seller Inventory # 20680309
