First edition of the continued adventures of SNUGGLEPOT & CUDDLEPIE, two anthropomorphic baby gum-nuts, and their friend RAGGED BLOSSOM, a young blossom girl, portrayed in glorious detail. Scarce in any condition, especially so in dust jacket. 9.5'' x 7.5''. Original cloth-backed pictorial boards with color paste-on depicting a blossom baby in an acorn. Pictorial endpapers with fantasy scenes of sea and air. Original monochrome blue pictorial dust jacket. Two full-page color plates with twenty full-page sepia-colored plates, and numerous in-text black and white illustrations. [4], 98, [2] pages. Dust jacket quite worn to edges with a few chips and sections of loss, split down length of spine fold. Front hinge starting. Text with occasional finger soil, but overall a bright copy of a rare book. Very good in very good minus dust jacket. Seller Inventory # 22574
