pp. 6-30p. The front wrapper (line-backed printed paer with coloured vignette of a lamb) is present but the rear is missing and there is no title page, otherwise appears complete and conforms with the copy in the British Library - all six coloured illustrations present with the colours vibrant. Contents good with some general reading wear, corner tips folded-over with a few light creases, an old ink stain to the top outer corner of page 26 and this has bled through and stained a few other corners but not affecting text or images. The front wraper is a little dust soiled, and the spine secured with later hand-stitching A fair to good copy, but given it's fragile nature and its juvenile audience, its survial is remarkable. Copac give a suggested date of 1829, but this title is featured in the publisher's adverts that appear in "The Good Child's Book of Stops" (see our inventory no. 016959) which Copac suggest was published in 1825. Therefore it might be safer to assume that this title was printed c. 1820's. Price six-pence. Size: 12mo (11 x 18cm). Seller Inventory # 016962
