However, pages 253 to 256 are absent. There is no sign of removal so may be a binder s error. Full contemporary leather worn and scuffed, especially at corners and joints, and beginning to wear away at head and foot of spine. Joints beginning to crack. Hinges cracked. Otherwise soundly bound. Pages undulating with a small faint watermark at the head of the hinges of the early sections and at the foot of the hinges of the final sections, otherwise very clean internally. Endpapers creased with curled corners. Ow very good.
