First printing, June 1956, so stated. Vintage Paperback, Berkley Books G-26 [.35 cover price]. (Original title: "The Golden Tag", Simon & Schuster, 1950.). Reading crease, one long cover crease and a few small ones, damp stain at rear. Some pages misbound but solid. Good Girl Art. Scarce. It has a newspaper background, contains a good deal of autobiography, and is both funny and poignant; it concerns a young wire service reporter and would-be novelist in New Orleans who becomes involved with two women, one of them married, while reporting on a sensational murder case.

Rhode Island residents please add 7% sales tax.
Shipping is $6.50 for first book; $1.00 each additional for Priority and $3.99 for 1st book; $1.25 for each additional for media mail in US. Overseas customers will be billed. Insurance is optional but be advised I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. Returns are allowed for any reason within 5 days of receipt. Please state reason for returning.
