Elegant binding with gold inlay. Vellum with several chips and cracks at the front joint head and tail, but still strong. Gilt fore edges. One page has a punched stamp from a former library. Cloth bookmark present but detached. Covers slightly warped. Senault Jean Froncois was Superior General of the Oratory of Jesus and a famous preacher. In the first part of of this book, Senault, writes about passions in a general sense. In the second part, Senault, discusses specific passions, such as love and hate or joy and despair. Pages: 595 Dimensions:3 x 5� x 1�.
