Jacket has severe shelving and handling wear including chipping at head of spine, an open tear along the back of spine near heel, open tear on bottom edge of front, and potential water damage along spine. Parts of jacket at open tears have fused to book due to moisture damage. Book has moisture damage at heel of spine as well. Page edges have moderate foxing. Endpapers have glue discoloration from binding process and age. Book is free of writing and highlighting. Jacket is protected from further damage by Mylar wrap. Very good copy with a bit of dampstaining to the cloth at the edges, mostly along the top, in a dust jacket with some minor fading to the spine and a couple of chips and tears. Early and scarce.
