A very worn copy of this attractively illustrated book. First Edition. 11 of the required 12 tipped in color plates are present. The color plate frontis is missing. The front free illustrated endpaper is missing. Most plates are loose and some are therefore frayed on the edges. The hinges are weak and strained causing the text block to seem loose although the sewing is sound. There are vaious marks and some coloring done by children.
