This Is A Very Nicely Preserved Ex-Library Book, Dobson 1968 Written By Finish-Canadian Journalist Eva-Lis Wuorio, Apparent First In Protected And Unclipped Dust Jacket Showing Original Price Of 18 Shillings. There Is Some Damage Where The Jacket Had Been Taped To The Boards And There Is A Remnant Of The Date Due Slip As Well As Various Stamps. There Is Also Some Foxing At The Edges. Even So, The Glossy Pictorial Boards Are In Extremely Nice Condition. Illustrations In Black And White And With Three Double Page Spreads [See Scan].A Companion Volume, The Island Of Fish In The Trees, Also Illustrated By Edward Ardizzone, Was Named The Best Illustrated Children¿S Book Of The Year By The New York Times.
