The book and dust jacket are in very good condition. The dust jacket is a facsimile wrapped in brodart for preservation purposes. The exterior of this edition is in a blue cloth with red lettering, has a fair amount of shelf rubbing some of the exterior cloth has been lost on the edges of the cover as well as a few chips lost on the spine of a larger size, the spine also has some discoloration likely as a result of light exposure. The interior of the book appears clean apart from some foxing, one instance of pencil on the back paste-down. 'The sixth in his series about the fictional "hollow earth" land of Pellucidar.
