Includes footnotes and appendix (long list of vaqueros - both Paisano and Anglo - plus shorter lists of chuck wagon cooks and women riders). Chapters on the ancient history of vaqueros, horses, riders, lore and legends. Unique book, fairly rare, still in serviceable condition. Book and dust jacket have been roughly handled and exposed, at some point, to water.
