The 'Law-Latin dictionary' has a separate title page and register, as called for.This landmark work was the first dictionary written to aid lawyers in the translation of the Year Books, old deeds and other early documents. The second part, the Law-Latin dictionary, was aimed to assist attorneys in their work.'Collected from the best authors by F. O.', this work includes references to examples of each term in works by such popular legal authors of the seventeenth century as Brook, Coke, Crompton, Fitzherbert, Littleton and Plowden.A very scarce early eighteenth century work. Rebacked, in a quarter calf binding with paper covered boards. Endpapers renewed. Externally, smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages lightly age toned, with spotting throughout, most concentrated to the first and last few leaves. Very Good.
