1897. First Edition. 1023 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Severe cracking to hinges causing boards to be loose. Binding feels slightly weak with cracking to gutters but pages throughout remain firmly attached. Pages are clean overall, with mild tanning throughout. Boards have slight edge wear with corner bumping. Noticeable tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Rear joint held together with clear tape. Gilt lettering is darkened. Splits to spine ends and corners with cloth slightly fraying. Book has a slight forward lean.
