A fine copy of the advance copy of this biography of T.E. Lawrence. Handsomely bound in half leather by Mudie - binder's gilt stamp signature to lower edge of front pastedown. Internally sound and complete. Five raised bands to spine that has gilt decoration; marbled eps; teg. Original front and back covers of the advanced copy bound in. The volume was prepared for the popular market in TE's lifetime after he had withdrawn Revolt in the Desert. Illustrated with photographs and maps. This is a highly elusive version. 454pp.
