pp. xii, 243. Pages untrimmed. Decorated cloth with title in green on upper cover, gilt lettering to spine. The contents are not foxed but a small stain has affected the edges of several pages. The cover is firm and in very good condition apart from a mark on the upper cover and along the top of the lower cover. Following the title page is a notice dated June 1897 that these pages are, by kind permission, respectfully dedicated to 'Her most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria'. The first entry is 'The Queen's Jubilee Canadian Poem'. Although a number of the poems had appeared in periodicals and anthologies, they are collected here for the first time, together with others hitherto unpublished. A very scarce title. sm. 8vo.
