First edition of Lazarus Rises by Roger Thorp in the original publisher's paper wraps.Limited edition of 350 copies, of which this is copy number 76. Scarce edition.The poems are accompanied by illustrations by Michael Thorp.The poetry is inspired by the biblical story of Lazarus who is resurrected by Jesus. The subtitles start with 'Word' and 'Tree' and progress to 'Tree Before Sun' and 'Watchful' as the poem tracks the progression of the resurrection. In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, very smart. Very minor bumping to the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean. Fine.
