London: Faber and Faber, 1948. First edition, externally worn copy in chipped dustjacket. Illustrated throughout in black and white from photographs. Tan cloth, 95 pages, dustjacket. Edges rubbed with darkening and wear to the spine ends where the dustjacket is chipped, slight bow to covers, good hinges, sound text block, light foxing to endpapers and outer edges of the text block, pages clean and unmarked. The mylar protected dustjacket has fading, shelf soil and spotting and numerous small chips and tears, but fairly little paper loss. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fair/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
