Hardcover in navy cloth boards with title on spine in gilt. October 1962 printing of 1951 first edition. Book is in Fine condition, with clean, unmarked, uncreased, unsoiled pages. There is a strip of light tanning on the front and rear end pages, offsetting from a brown jacket the book was wrapped in. Book presents the most important algebraic concepts. Exercises included. From the library of noted mathematician Charles Greenhall, with his signature inked on front end page. 8vo. 217 pp.
