About this Item
Hardcover, first edition, without dust jacket. Very good condition for age. Once the property of the British Library of Political Science, this copy was withdrawn from the library at the outset of WWII and has been kept by a private collector until now. One BLPS stamp on title page, no other library markings. Includes a 32 page index of works published by Baillere, Tindall, and Cox at rear. Green cloth boards have gilt printing to front and to spine. Boards are worn and marked from use and age, lightly bumped at corners and spine ends. FEP is partially detached from binding, light sticker remnant to front pastedown, small pen mark to half-title page and some very minimal foxing to endpapers. Hinge break at REP. Spine is tight, boards are solid and text is clean and unmarked throughout. AD. Seller Inventory # 521677
