Hardcover, first edition with blue cloth boards, no dust jacket. Includes 65 illustrations from photographs, a map showing the world distribution of leprosy, and numerous charts and diagrams. Boards are bumped at corners, rubbed along edges, chipped at spine ends and tanned at spine. Page block is foxed. Stamp from British Empire Leprosy Relief Association and signature of previous owner to half-title page. Lightly pencilled marginalia to margins of some pages and penned notations to index pages and page 29. Light foxing to a couple of internal pages. AD.
