p.1-80 in origianal wrappers which are chipped. The Whale paper runs from p 36-75 with four plates/drawings. Another paper covers " The tactics adopted by certain birds when flying in the wind. Clean and unmarked. See scans. 91-335 from the Journal of Anatomy and Physiology, Vol,XXVII April 1893. Disbound from a bound volume. No wrappers. 4 plates., three ofwhich are coloured. Clean without marks apart from stamps of the Huxley library, London. and "Professor G.B.Howes with the author's best regards" .Some toning at edges.See scans.
