About this Item
This nostalgic old-timer is a bit of a mystery. It appears to be a vintage home economics instructor's manual, complete with both recipes and general food information. The title page and first 44 pages appear to have been removed so we can state neither the publisher nor date of publication with specificity. 45-262 pp. A prior owner has pencilled in the date 1917 which is probably a reasonably indication of the printing date. Our research suggests the publisher may have been Rand McNally. The only other hint we can provide is that the book was clearly intended for U.S. readers. Above-average wear. 3/4" strip neatly removed from top of front cover. Interesting bits of ephemera tucked in at several places. ; 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall; Lessons in Cookery - Food Economy: Book One of the Home Economics Series. Seller Inventory # 758c6954
