FIRST EDITION. 8 vo. Contemp. sheep. xxxi, (1), 505, (1,blank), (1,errata) pp. A bit scuffed, lacking front fly-leaf, title dustsoiled, waterstain in lower portion of text; a good copy. G-M 1494 cites Horner's (1793-1853) description of the tensor tarsi muscle of the lacrimal apparatus as it appeared in 1824 in the 'Phila. J. Med. Phys. Sci.', however 'Horner's muscle' is described in detail in the present volume (1823) on pages 116 to 120. In a footnote to this text, Horner indicates he communicated this description to the American Philosophical Society in their transactions in 1823. On this, see: A. A.
