12mo. vi, 172 pages. Hardcover rebound in early 20th century brown cloth. There is light wear to the binding. The edges are lightly bumped. Outer edges of the text block are toned and foxed. Ex-library from a public library with no exterior markings. Endpapers have bookplates and ink stamps, including "Discarded". The text is a bit toned and has foxing and at least one blind stamp. Contains the original fold-out map of Washington's farm. The map measures 20 inches wide by 14 5/8 inches tall. There's a bit of browning at the edge. The top edge has a 4 1/2 in tear at the center fold, and there is a 1 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch chip at the fore edge (left side) of the map. This is the First Edition published in London, 1801. It was reprinted in Alexandria, Virginia in 1803 without the map. Rare. "Final" Howes W-135c. Seller Inventory # 053323
