Limited Edition - this is #646 of 700 copies. Beige cloth boards with crisp black titling, title box and profile of John Fairfield on front, along with a fasc.signature and black titling on spine. Book is tight, square and free of all markings other than a incomplete but attractive bookplate. Frontispiece and all other plates are present and in fine shape. Fairfield, a representative in Congress from 1835 to 1837 and a member of the Senate of the United States from 1843 to 1847, and a governor of Maine in 1839, 1840, 1842 and a part of 1843."
