Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine and front board. Page dimensions: 183 x 118mm. Illustrated. Includes examples of posters suitable for advertising public libraries, with slogans like "True Democracy [. . .] The most democractic instituion in existence is the Public Library", and quotes in favour of public libraries, e.g. "We want to see an educated working class [. . .]" - J.
