About this Item
1152pp. 17cm. 16mo. Hardcover. Publisher's original brown cloth over boards, gilt lettering to spine. Book Condition: head of the spine ragged, mild wear to extremities else fine. A bewildering assortment of some 200 or so articles thoroughly indexed by subject or author or both. From: "Admiration in Literature, Sham." by James Payn to "What is Rent" by Bonamy Price." There's John Stuart Blackie on "Landlords and Rent Law" and John Ruskin on "Usury". "Animal Inteligence", "The Data of Ethics" , "The Russian Gypsies", the list goes on and on. All in English, which suggests maybe that "Foreign" means British in this case. Seller Inventory # 004103
