20.5 x 13 cm. 511 pages + ad. Bound in contemporary brown leather. Red endlabel. 5 raised bands. Front endpaper loose. Gift inscription inside front cover, though a bookplate has been pasted over most of it. Chipping to the bottom of the spine.Corners are rubbed, scratching to boards. Bookseller's stamp inside rear cover. Volume 2 is advertised in the rear but was not published until 1766.An experimental novel claiming to be an autobiography.
