First edition hardback with a preface by Professor F. A. Hayek, 1954, with no jacket. Ex library book with only a couple of the usual stamps and labels, no pages removed. In overall very good used condition with only minor signs of age, handling and storage - boards lightly rubbed with a little wear to corners. Binding tight and internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; toning to page-ends but text and illustrations bright and clear throughout. Photographs available.
