256p octavo, A very good copy in the original gray boards and tan cloth spine with partial printed label. A few non-authoial gift presentations, plus a bookplate of F W Taylor jr. Laid in is a 4 page letter written in a legible hand by James W Oates of Mountain Home, Tn, addressed to Mr J F Taylor of Whitesburg Tn. in which he recounts his loose connection to the Harpes brothers murderers due to the facts that he owned the land where these murders occurred. He addotional details of executions related to the case. News clipping for 1954 concerning the Harpe murders also laid in. Seller Inventory # 49652
