His annotations and comments are in the margins throughout. Some wear to corners and edges. Boards slightly cocked. The binding is weak at the front hinge, but holding well. A rare insight into the history and practices of the Middle Temple, one of the four Inns of Court exclusively entitled to call their members to the English Bar as barristers.
