The Raven Book Shop was opened by my father, Bernard Kraus, in the 1930's and was located at 112 Fourth Avenue on Book Row in Manhattan. In later years he conducted business at 752 Broadway in NYC. He was an early member of the ABAA. I became a specialist in 19th-century photography from working with him in the 1960s and 1970s. The books that we offer are both from original stock of the Raven Book Shop and more recent acquisitions, many in the field of photography.
