This volume looks to have been rebound in the 1800's with 3/4 leather. The upper front leather corner has a little bit of chipping of the hypotenuse edge. Also, there is some discoloration along the hypotenuse edges of all the leather corners as if the glue bled a bit into the fabric of the boards. Also, there are a few small bumps along the bottom edges of the boards as well as a 2" long spot on the upper edge of the back board where the fabric is rubbed through. No frontispiece. There are only two interior pages missing about 1/4-1/2" of their bottom corners and the last original page has a couple of small nicks in the edge. The last few pages (Index) are wrinkled to varying degrees but not badly. There are about 6 pages which were not cut evenly and thus have small paper "tabs" sticking out. The page count is of the actual text and does not include the index or introductory materials. As mentioned in other listings, the pagination is a mess with two sets of page numbers being used twice although the content is not repeated. Also, there is a section of 19 un-numbered pages after 203 before the second set of pages 185-202. Also, there is a page numbered 79 on the front side and 90 on the back side. Also, as mentioned in another listing, there are numerous marginal handwritten notes in this copy as well that look to be contemporaneous, but is so small that it is hard to tell for sure with our limited level of expertise in this area.
