Original orange front wrap bound into hardcover, (lacks rear wrap) 227 pages + ads, frontis, illustrations, light scattered foxing, overall a very good copy of a title which is difficult to obtain. The author, an Englishman came to the U.S. in 1877 and tells of his experiences ranching. Graff 30, Herd 23, "This is one of the standard books on cattle. The author was a partner of Benjamin S.
