Three volumes. First editions. Small quartos. Illustrated with Portraits, Pictures of Homes, etc. Uniform green cloth gilt with gilt medallion on the front board of each volume. Erasure on the front fly of Volume III resulting in a tiny pinhole, a little rubbing at the extremities, else very near fine. Ida Husted Harper was an American author, journalist, and suffragist. This biography was written at the request of Susan B. Anthony. Originally intended as two volumes, the third volume was published two years after Anthony's death. A nice, uniform set.
