The first printing consisted of 8500 copies. An excellent copy with 3/4 of the original glassine dust wrapper is laid in. Original grey cloth, spine lettered in blue and front board in orange, top edge orange, fore edge uncut. "First Printing" stated on copyright page, "Jefferson" for "Mottsville" on page 340, line one. Book is about fine. Bright orange and blue on the boards. Contemporary book plate front paste down is partially hidden by front flap.The just about fine dust jacket has the correct $2.50. Spine is missing from the original glassine dust wrapper. Seller Inventory # 005463
