Brown cloth hardcover with black titles, 1st edition, in dustjacket. A very good copy of this thick volume, with some bending to the corners, and general light edgewear. Some thumbing or darkening to the textblock edges, otherwise a clean and unmarked copy in a solid binding. The dustjacket is also very good with matching bumping to the corners and folds. The rear flap of the jacket is folded incorrectly, leaving some of the written matter flowing ot the back panel. 661 pp., indexed. An important work in the development of therapeutic communication between patient and physician. Hard to find in this condition.
