A theological writer and lawyer, John Poynder is mainly known for his Literary Extracts and publications of his Christian missions to India. Incomplete in two volumes, Volumes 1 and 2 only. In a cloth binding. Externally, smart with light fading to spine. Personal bookplate to front pastedown to both. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean with an ink signature to title page to both Near Fine.
