Copyright date 1929, first edition, first printing. Authors first book. Dark blue cloth over boards with gilt lettering on the front and on the spine, blind stamped insignia on the front board. Top page edges tinted, for edge and bottom page edges are deckled. No Dust Jacket. Shelf wear to the edges and to the head and toe of the spine are moderate with light bumps to the head and toe of the spine. Book now protected by a glassine cover. Text remains bright and clean, binding is secure, a solid collectible book.
