Minor edge and corner wear; no dj; scuffed and scratched; a couple of small tears in the front board; spine has been repaired with green tape; corners are bumped and rubbed; shelf worn; overall still a good collectible copy! Red boards with blue lettering and illustration on the front board. Unpaginated, wonderfully illustrated in black and yellow. "Once upon a time there was a little Chicken that did not like to go to bed. His brothers and sisters always came running home as soon as they saw the big red sun go down behind the western hills; but the little Chicken that did not like to go to bed, although he was the baby of the family, ran farther away from home than ever."
