Sixteen volumes bound in eight octavos; uniform purple half calf over marbled paper covered boards; gilt decoration to spine; marbled edges and endpapers. Mild rubbing to edges; spines a trifle sunned; a few scuffs and scrapes; bindings sound and pages unmarked; overall a Very good or better, handsomely bound set. Includes Dickens' A Christmas Carol, The Gold-Bug by Poe, and "The Ancient Mariner" by Coleridge among many, many others.
