1969 first edition Good hardback with Poor dustjacket, so Fair overall. Endpapers spotted. Ffep has a number of scratches which have gone through to the title page below. Page edges dustmarked. Tatty price-clipped dustjacket, grubby, chipped and torn with some writing on the back. Red boards underneath are faded round edges, corners slightly bumped but otherwise Good. Pages slightly yellowed with odd crease and fingermark, but generally clean and clear and illustrations very bright. If it wasn't for the endpapers, I would describe the book as Good overall.
