Approximately 8 ¾ inches tall. Condition Report Externally Spine good condition black leather, gilt titles within a gilt edged box, worn top and tail. Joints good condition rubbed and worn. Corners good condition bumped and worn with some loss. Boards good condition quarter leather boards, some loss to the marbled paper to the front board of Vol. II in the bottom left hand corner. Page edges good condition top edges gilt, fore and bottom edges tanned and foxed, some pages are standing proud down the fore edge in both volumes. See above and photos. Internally Hinges good condition intact. Paste downs good condition marbled, there is a book plate Talygarn on the front paste down of both volumes. End papers good condition marbled, subsequent end papers tanned and foxed. Title good condition Vol. I has a shield design to the centre, some offsetting from the frontispiece, tanned, Vol. II lightly tanned and foxed.
