VG / VG. 1st Printing of the 1957 Chicago 1st Edition thus, selected and translated, with essay, by Judah Goldin. Book is straight, square, tightly bound, mildly and uniformly age toned and, except for front pastedown name stamps, a number, and faint residue from prior sticker removal, free of other markings and blemishes; some fading and spotting to dyed top edge. Cover is clean and bright, with very gently bumped and rubbed, corners, joints, headcap and tail, straight spie, hinges and edges, and boldly legible, crisply distinct lettering and design. Dust Jacket is unclipped (still showing original USD $4 price), encased in protective mylar and mildly age toned, with rubbing along the wraps and hinges, chipping at the corners, joints and tail, and 1/4" loss at top of backstrip.
