Thomas Stanley Treanor also wrote Heroes of the Goodwin Sands. He was a chaplain at the Missions to Seamen, Deal and the Downs. He wrote many works on the Deal boatmen. In original pictorial cloth binding with gilt stamping to the boards and spine. Externally, generally smart with rubbing to the joints and extremities. Bumping to the head and tail of spine. Small loss to the head and tail of spine. Small loss to the spine at centre. Front hinge is slightly strained but firm. Binding is weak in places. Pages are generally bright with occasional spots. Good.
