480 pages. First American edition, first printing in first state (red lettering) dust jacket. Originally published in 1935 in Germany as Logik der Forschung. He added 150 pages of new material and republished it in English in 1959. The American edition preceded the English (Hutchinson) edition. This book laid out his theory of falsifiability where a theory, hypothesis or claim is not refutable then it is not scientific. Fine book in a fine dust jacket with the spine very slightly tanned. A beautiful copy!
