In March 1939, a deal was made to incorporate The London Mercury and The Bookman with the more successful title Life and Letters To-day owned by the Brendin Publishing Company. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally generally smart, though sunned to the spines. Small closed tears to the head and tail of the joints. Issue Sept 1936 is a little sunned to the front of the wraps, with some creasing to the extremities. Faint stamp to the front of the wrap to issue Dec 1936. Tail of the backstrip lifting to Dec 1936. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, except for the odd spot to the fore edge, affecting the occasional page. Very Good. Seller Inventory # 903M2
